· First local television reporter to spotlight a local man with a promising treatment to cure cancer. Story later picked up by stations and network programs nationwide
· Asked by largest hospital network in SWFL to serve on it's Cancer Care Advisory Board and repeatedly host medical forums and seminars
· Serve as station spokesperson and ambassador for the American Red Cross, helping to coordinate walks attended by thousands
· In demand as speaker for community events
· Station Spokesperson/Partner for numerous additional charities and organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors for Candlelighters of SWFL (an organization for kids with cancer), the American Heart Association, and Komen Foundation for a Cure

· Lived and worked for one week onboard an Ohio River barge for an award-winning documentary. Served as reporter and producer, and assisted in the photography, editing, and promotion for the series.
· Organized and served as spokesperson for a charity drive for flood victims, which raised more than $100,000 inmoney and supplies
· Established and maintained relationships with corporate partners for food and supply drives, as well as telethons
· Organized and served as moderator for debate televised state-wide, concerning medical malpractice issues in WV
