For more than 20 years, I've had the privilege of being invited into television viewers' homes all over the country to share news, stories, and experiences.
Eventually, my career allowed me to move to paradise.
I traded Ohio's cold grey skies, for tropical breezes and constant sun in Cape Coral, Florida.
I am now thrilled to be the Morning Anchor of "More in the Morning" on ABC-7 WZVN.
I jump out of bed at 1:15 a.m. each weekday to help Southwest Floridians start their day with a smile from 4:30 - 7 a.m., and again from 9 - 11 a.m. ABC7’s “More in the Morning” is unlike any other newscast, focusing on positivity and humor, mixed with the news you need to start the day. I feel extremely blessed to be part of such a fun team, sharing the good news about this paradise we call home.

I was the Morning Anchor for for more than a decade on another Southwest Florida TV station, before having the incredible opportunity to move to ABC-7 in 2018.

I feel very blessed to continue working in a career that has been my passion for more than 20 years.
I spent 17 years as a News Anchor and Reporter in Boston, and several cities in Ohio, before finally moving here to Southwest Florida. I've been honored with multiple distinctions during that time, including Emmy Awards and Associated Press Awards.
I continue to treasure the opportunities this career affords me to support our community and give back.
I frequently serve as an emcee for community organizations raising money for children's charities, research and awareness health campaigns, and animal welfare organizations.

Music to her Ears.....
My favorite part of the job on "More in the Morning"?
Featuring local musicians and bands during a regular segment I created for the show called "Scene and Heard."
I love showcasing the incredible talent we have here in Southwest Florida.
I'm an amateur musician myself--
I've been playing the piano, singing, and performing in musical theater since I was four years old.
My kids have the same passion--
My 11-year-old daughter Kamryn plays piano/keys, and my 9-year-old son Austin plays guitar and piano.
Both play in their own rock bands at "School of Rock Ft. Myers" and regularly jump on local stages when called up by our musician friends.
Making Waves....
When my kids aren't rocking local stages, we're rocking on our boat.
Our family is out on the water as often as possible exploring our area’s islands, beaches, and waterfront destinations.
We are VERY fortunate and blessed to live in the same neighborhood as nearly our entire extended family and a lot of our Ohio friends, who also made the move to live on the water here in paradise.

When I'm not on TV, I'm usually ON or BY the water, with "BOAT BUDDIES."
I turned my passion for boating into a profession, and I now own and operate Boat Buddies, a Boat Watch/Boat Service/Boat Concierge Company. Southwest Florida is the recreational boating capital of the country, boasting countless beaches, tropical islands, and unique destinations that are only accessible by water. Boat Buddies takes the hassle out of boating, allowing families to enjoy the incredible experience of exploring this paradise without the worries or the work.

My combined experience as a News Anchor, and experience throwing boat anchors, flowed into several dream side jobs.
I served as the Host and Executive Producer of "Living the Florida Life," a lifestyle television show that showcases everything there is to love about the Sunshine State. We take you to incredible beach and boating destinations, visit unique attractions, introduce you to artists and musicians, and sample some of the best dishes being served up in Florida's outstanding restaurants.
